I came across this Calvin n Hobbes sunday strip recently and reminded me; surprise, surprise about the landslide hooha in bukit antarabangsa. Its pretty ironic to see calvin's attitude reflects our (or specifically, my) ignorance on preserving you-know-what.
Its funny because at first we are egoistic, defying nature doing this, doing that, although the signs are there...and before we realised it, landslides, banjir..you name it..
and then "sudah terhantuk baru mengadah"
but for how long? politicians saying enough is enough, saying more ngos to support ban on hillside project, me, writing a blog about landslide..i mean,how long can all these last?
well, on the lighter side, kudos to the ATM, RELA, JKR, bomba, police and etc...its also nice to see everyone helping out each other in this tragedy...
ah well, this is just a 1-guy opinion, spare me yah...
